Illness Fatal To W.M. Budd

Willie M. Budd, the son of William and Julia Garrow Budd was born September 23, 1878 at Chaquin Falls, Ohio, and passed away at the Clare General Hospital, April 10 at the age of 84 years. July 2, 1899 he was united in marriage to Minnie Hosler at Harrison and they resided in Michigan and Ohio until 1944 when they came to Lake George and Greenwood Community. To this union was born four sons. Mrs. Budd and one son, Averill, preceded Mr. Budd in death. Surviving are Elvin of Harrison, Merlan of Port Clinton, Ohio, and Kenneth of Chandler, Arizona, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Mr. Budd was active in community affairs being a member of Lincoln Board of Review several years, a member of Modern Woodmen of America, Lake George Chamber of Commerce and Lake George Community Church. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday April 13, from the Coker Funeral Home in Farwell With Elder Hobart Beavers officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
