He was born April 17, 1933 in Greenwood County, Kansas to the late Charles Lee Grubb and the late Cora Mae Glendenning Grubb. He was united in marriage to the late Pearl Joy Thornton on May 22, 1961 in Eureka, Kansas. He was an Electrician by trade and was also a veteran, serving his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Grubb was a member of the Canaanland Church and was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cora Grubb, his wife, Pearl Grubb, and a son, Chuck Grubb.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Canaanland Church. Interment follows in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens
Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Marine Corps and Polk County Veteran's Organizations.
