Alfred Lee Roark, 75, of Buffalo died Sep 22, at his home. He was a well known painter and a Sunday School Superintendent at Wesley Meadows Methodist Church for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jaggers Roark; five daughters, Anita Sidebottom, Buffalo, Winona Johnson, Tampa FL, Ella Hill, Jeffersontown, Brenda Slayton, Pleasure Ridge Park and Evelyn Brown, Hodgenville; two sons, Paul Roark of Louisville and David Roark, Saint Louis, MO; two sisters, Mabel Warren, Buffalo, and Elizabeth Webber, Louisville; 25 grandchildren; five-step grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The funeral services were held Sep 24th at Dixon and Rogers Funeral Chapel. Bro Tom Morrison and Brother Joe Adams officiated. Burial was in the Buffalo Cemetery.
