Funeral services for Joey Paul Henderson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Christian Family Worship Center in Mansura with Rev. Mark Crawford officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Henderson, age 36, of Mansura, passed away in Mansura on Thursday, April 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his Father, Thomas Ducote.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Brittany Henderson of Mansura, special friend Trudy Dupuy of Marksville, mother, Shirley Bordelon of Hessmer, Adopted father Morel Henderson, 4 brothers, Daniel Barbry & wife Lisa of Mansura, Chris J. Barbry Sr. & Fiance' Emelie of Marksville, James Barbry & wife Angela of Marksville, Brent Barbry Sr. of Cottonport and 5 sisters, Cheryl Barbry of Moreauville, Debra, Pamela & Katina Ducote & Deidre Henderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Sunday morning from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before time of services.
