Ralph, 82, of Bear Lake, died Friday April 19, 2013 in Howell. He was to Ralph & Edna (Jones) Gibbons.

Fred was a veteran of the US Army and was a truck driver. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Copemish, the Teamsters and Sportsman's Club and was a volunteer fireman in Copemish.

Surviving are his sister: Joanne Krekel, sister-in-law: Beatrice Robertson and many nieces and nephews, including 14 that he essentially adopted when his 2 brothers died.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Donald in 1967 and Kenneth in 1966.

Mass of the Resurrection was Tuesday April 23, 2013 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. Louis Ekka officiating. The Rosary was recited.
