Three children: Susan Josch, Melissa Fulton and Paul Vasek.
7 grandchildren.

As a Grandmother, the tremendous loss of her first born grandson Baby John was a loss she never overcame.

She attended Forest Ave. High School in South Dallas. Her Daddy owned Dodd's Garage which was located on Commerce Street. Currently - I-45 Pillars are in place of the original location. Time marches on.

Older sister, Opal Christene Dodd Welch, preceded her in death.

My Daddy loved his sister so very much. They spoke on the phone through the years and he would visit her when they could get together. That loving bond of brother and sister could not be broken on this world. Daddy called her "Monty" -- his sweet sister...
..
..
We have wonderful memories of Thanksgivings and Christmas gatherings through the early years. Everyone grew up and went their own ways, but love remains always - God Bless you Dear Aintie. I remember that Auntie Montez and Uncle Jodie divorced around 1980 or so... she never remarried.
