MRS. FREIRE DIES IN TEXAS

Arroyo Grande. Sept 17 --

Mr. and Mrs. James Kadlovek received a telegram Friday noon from San Antonio, Texas, telling of the sad and sudden death of their daughter, Mrs. May Kadlovek Freire, wife of Ed Freire at 7:30 o'clock Thursday evening. They were former residents of Arroyo Grande valley. Mrs. Freire came to Arroyo Grande with her parents in 1911.

Mrs. Freire was only 28 years of age, and her sudden death was a great shock to her parents and other relatives.

Mrs. Freire was a sweet character and loved by all who know her.

She leaves to mourn her sad passing, her husband, and two little daughters, her parents, one brother, James Kadlovek of Arroyo Grande, two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Brooks of Arroyo Grande and Mrs. Evelyn Len of Carlsbad, Calif. She was a niece of Mrs. Chas. Maha of Arroyo Grande and a daughter-in-law of Mrs. Mary Freire of Verde.

Regular mass will be held Monday morning at the Old Mission church in San Luis Obispo at 10 o'clock, following services at the Richardson funeral parlors at 9:30.

Interment will take place in the Catholic cemetery at San Luis Obispo.
