GRAHAM, Ellen Estella

Estella passed away on October 17, 2008 at Hospice House in Spokane, WA.
Estella was born in Basin, WY on May 10, 1929 to Herbert and Ellen Deveraux. The family lived in a variety of towns in Wyoming due to her father's job with the railroad. She
married the love of her life, Charles Graham, on September 1, 1949. After living in Montana they moved to Metaline Falls, WA in 1953 and remained in the area until she
retired from the Selkirk School District. In 1998 they moved to Chewelah, WA. Estella will be remembered for her generous spirit to all whether it be family, friends, or complete strangers. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing and her vegetable garden, but her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren: John (Becky), Jason (Brandi),
Josh and Nathan Graham and Jennifer and Sam Rittenhouse and great-grandchildren: Andrew, Ty, Sara, Abby, and Calli Graham who enjoyed many trips and holidays with her and Charles.
Survivors include her husband Charles of Spokane; son Dan Graham and wife Mary Lynne of Reardan, WA; and daughter Cheryl Osborne and husband Bill of Auburn, WA. She is also survived by brothers Jack (Wanda) Deveraux of Pavillion,
WY, Jim (Peggy) of Casper, WY, George Deveraux of Yuba City, CA, Ray (Eva) of Greeley, CO and Harry (Kathy) of Basin, WY; and many nieces and nephews whose lives she was always interested in.
Estella was preceded in death by her parents Herb
and Ellen Deveraux and four siblings, Eugene and David Pennington, Herbert Deveraux Jr., and Pearl Graham. Graveside Service will be at the Metaline Cemetery on October 25 at 11:00 AM. The family welcomes everyone to the luncheon following the service at the Lillian Bailey School in Metaline Falls.
Her family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane and Hospice House for the amazing care and love they showed
all of us during the last days. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice House of Spokane, P.O. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
