She was united in marriage to Joseph Buchanan King on May 8, 1914 and to this union five children were born. Her husband and two sons, Willie and Willard, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Junior D. and Thomas L. and one daughter, Mary (Mrs. Donnie) Doyle, all of Knob Lick; one sister, Maude (Mrs. Oscar) Hale [Haile]; two brothers, Floyd Mansfield of Knob Lick and Antone Mansfield of East Prairie, Mo.; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 18 at 2 p.m., at the Assembly of God Church in Knob Lick with the Rev. Dalles Reagan officiating, assisted by the Rev. W. E. Wilkinson. Interment was in the Marcus Memorial Cemetery at Fredericktown. Cozean Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
