E. Frances Rhodes, 81, of Louisiana, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002, at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Ward-Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Ill. The Rev. Paul White will officiate. Burial will be at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Rhodes was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Pleasant Hill to Lester Francis and Myrtle Ralph Henry. She was first married to Austin Witthouse on June 22, 1940, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death in 1961. She was married to Taylor Rhodes on May 18, 1962. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was preceded in death by six brothers, including two who died in infancy; and three sisters, including one who died in infancy.
