Mrs. Lucy Ream, widow of T. Frank Ream, died this morning at 4 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Milton Slesser, of 28 W. Granada Avenue, Hershey, following a two years' illness of complications. Mrs. Ream, who was confined to her room since January, was aged seventy-three years. Born May 22, 1861, near Newmanstown, the daughter of the late Levi and Mary Auchenbach, she resided in Schaefferstown and Palmyra for many years. Prior to going to live with her daughter at Hershey a year ago, Mrs. Ream had made her home in Palmyra for a period of thirty-seven years. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed church of Palmyra. Her husband preceded her in death seven years ago, and a daughter, Mrs. Emma Freed, died four years ago. She is survived by the following children, Mrs. Milton Slesser, Mrs. Harry Miller and Mrs. Fred Clark, of Hershey, William Ream, of Hershey, David and George Ream, of Palmyra, and Alvin Ream, of York. Three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Christ Weible, of Reading, Mrs. Fianna Putt, of Harrisburg, Mrs. Charles Keppley, of Sinking Springs, and Albert and Harry Auchenbach, of Wernersville.
