Mrs. Thelma Reeves, 53, died at her home south of Pleasant Hill at 3 Tuesday morning, after an illness of two years. Mrs. Reeves was born at Time, Illinois, June 11, 1904, a daugher of Frank and Alma Gant Crowder. She attended Bayville elementary school and Pleasant Hill High School. She united with the Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill early in life and was a faithful member and active worker in the church. She was married to Truman Reeves August 21, 1923. Surviving are her husband, Truman Reeves; one daughter, Mrs. Jeannie Warren of Altus, Okla.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cleta Smith of Pittsfield and Mrs. Uva Hemphill of Pleasant Hill; and one brother, Harold Crowder, of Pleasant Hill. Funeral services will be held in the Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, Thursday afternoon at 2, with the Rev. Kenneth Hoggard in charge. Interment will be in Crescent Heights cemetery at Pleasant Hill.
