Albert Stanley Bosarge:
A native and lifelong resident of Alabama died Saturday, January 13, 2001 at his home in Bayou LaBatre. Mr. Bosarge was a graduate of Alba High School Class of 19 37 and was a Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific 1111th Port Marine Maintenance Ship Repair. He was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church. He was a master boat builder in t he family business, Bayou Shipyard, and also a commercial fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Effie Bryant, and great granddaughter, Princess Cyndel Winstanley. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Effie Gray Bosarge; daughter, Marcia (Phillip) Bosarge; son, Alden (Rose) Bosarge; seven grandchildren, Melanie (Mark) Steele, Beth (Mark) Gazzier, Stan (Terry) Bosarge, John (Joyce) Windham, Kristy (Tony) Musselwhite, Ashley (Barry) Winstanley, and Gordon Stanley Windham; twelve great grandchildren ; three nephews, Glennon (June) Bosarge, Richard (Betty) Vining, and Vernon (Marlene) Vining; devoted caretaker, Leatter Harris; special thanks to Dr. Archie Davis, Dr. Gaeton Larcino, Kathleen and Robin, and Mercy Hospice Care.
