Theo Ingersoll kinney, 96, of Clarkston, Wash., died April 26, 2001, at her daughter's residence.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery.

Mrs. Kinney was born May 16, 1904, in Blaine, Wash. She attended the University of Washington and taught school for one year in Minden, Nev., before marrying Seth Grant Kinney in 1928. The couple started a family and lived in Cambria. They then moved to San Luis Obispo and lived there for 50 years until moving to Clarkston, Wash. Mrs. Kinney was a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed buying, remodeling and selling homes.

Mrs. Kinney is survived by her sister, Marjorie Cooper, and her family of Paso Robles; daughters in San Luis Obispo, Couer d'Alene and Santa Barbara; son in Clarkston, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Seth Grant Kinney, in 1988.
