Ralph Sims, age 77, Deacon of Ebenezer Baptist Church and retired Motor Vehicle Operator at Tacachale & Lancaster Correctional Facility peacefully left us on April 9, 2013, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. Ralph was the son of the late Lonnie Sims Sr. & Willie Mae Sims. Homegoing Celebration were held 0n April 20, 2013, at Living Praise Church of God in Trenton, FL where Pastor Terry Davis is Pastor, with Reverend C. C. Burke officiating. Burial followed at Trenton Community Cemetery. Those left to cherish his memory are: wife of 47 Years, Armilla Wilder-Sims of Trenton, FL; daughters - Helen Duncan (& Mark), Gladys McHenry (& Stanley), Essie Wilder, Vera Grimsley (& Tommy), Georgia Mae Jenkins, Alice Pinkney (& Bruce) (Sallie McQueen - Deceased); son - Edward Ralph Sims (& Annette); sisters - Annie Brown (& Paul), Geraldine Sims, Laverne Stanley (& Clifford) (Mary Kearney, Evelyn Copeland and Barbara Sims - Deceased); brothers - Lonnie Sims, Jr. (& Leila), Timothy Davis (& Debra), Herbert Davis, and Joe Sims (& Pearl) (Harry Sims - Deceased); 29 grands; 54 great grands; aunt; nieces & nephews; cousins; in-laws; & friends.
