∼Rhoda was the daughter of Isaac Swafford Sr and Mary Polly Smith.
Rhoda married Jabel Smith 28 Sep 1826 in Clay Co KY. Rhoda and Jabel had 10 children that I know of.
It is thought that both Jabel and Rhoda died sometime after 1880.
Know all men by these presents that we Jabel Smith & Paul Henson acknowledge ourselves indebted to the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of L 50 curent money which payment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of our heirs jointly and severally ____ by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 25th day of September 1826
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Jabel Smith is about to obtain a licens for a marriage intended between the said Smith & Rhody Swafford Now should there be no lawful cause to obstruct said Marriage then this obligation shall be void else remain in full force
