W.A. was born on September 16, 1942, in Natchitoches Parish, LA and passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. He was one of ten children born to William Arthur Sessions, Sr. and Orie (Davis) Sessions. First and foremost, W.A. loved God and lived a life that was pleasing to the Lord. W.A. was a real "cut up", always joking, speaking his mind and making those around him laugh. He lived life to the fullest and instilled in his children the importance of family, a good work ethic and kindness. W.A. was a loving husband and family man whose main "job" was to love and take care of his wife, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
W.A. was preceded in death by his parents, eight of his siblings, and his granddaughter, Ashlee Paige Sessions. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Toni "Momma" Sessions; his children, Deborah L. Haggerty and husband, James, Bubba Sessions and wife, Jill, Tina R. Balentine and husband, Darrell, Kimberly Sessions, Sonia Tuggle, Robert Sessions, and Chris Sessions and wife, Teresa; sister, Liz Cox and husband, Lane; fifteen grandchildren, Matthew R. Nichols, Amelia C. Haggerty, Wil and Olivia "Rose Bud" Sessions, Jessica, Hannah, and Darrell Balentine, Jr., April and John Tuggle, Morgan, Allie, Cami, and Kelsi Sessions, Colton and Bo Sessions; and two great-grandchildren, Peyton "Pey Pey" and Matthew Nichols, Jr.
Honoring W.A. as pallbearers are Sam Maggio, Donnie Maggio, Hunter Pipes, Bill Schier, Johnny Franklin, and Tommy Maddox. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. A.E. Dean, Jr., Judge Mike Craig, and Don Livingston.
