"Of all the children born to Leonard and Elizabeth Betz brief record is entered
as follow: Caroline, born on the 22nd of February, 1835, became the wife of
Israel Meyers, who came from Pennsylvania, and she died in Canton in 1863. They
had three children: John Leonard died in infancy, John Henry now a blacksmith
in Canton, and Lyman Eugene, who died when about one year of age."
