LaGrit Felker Morris, 79, of Atlanta, died April 17, 2013. Mrs. Morris was a retired Executive Director at Georgia Concrete Products, where she worked for over 25 years and was known by her business associates as "Sam." She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Morris; son, Joe Landress; grandson, Bradd Landress; brothers, Henry and Billy Smith. Mrs. Morris is survived by her son, Steven Landress of Atlanta; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Herbert Zwerner of Atlanta; sister, Cynthia Parker of Ft. Myers FL; sister-in-law, Betty Hartness; brother-in-law, Raymond Morris; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Simon and Kasmo. The memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, April 21, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. For those desiring, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Halcyon Hospice, 5411 Northland Dr., Atlanta GA 30342. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.

Note: Lagrit was known as Sam to her friends in the cement and concrete industry. She worked tirelessly for the American Concrete Institute, the Georgia Concrete and Products Association, and the International Concrete Repair Institute, for over 25 years.
