Chaffee - Funeral service for former Chaffee mayor Robert H. Capshaw will be held Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Capshaw, 76 years old, died Friday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Gireardeau.
He was widely known in Southeast Missouri, having served as Chaffee's mayor from 1971 to 1987. He also served six years as a council member and was involved in area community organizations for many years.
