William Jake Mullikin, 84 of Star City, died Monday.

He was born October 19, 1928 in Star City to the late Rufus Kendric and Belle Monk Mullikin.

He was an Ordained Deacon since 1957, member of Lone Grove Missionary Baptist Church, member of Feeneyville Hunting Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Martha Ellen Sowheaver Mullikin, 2 brothers; Buck Mullikin and Gus Mullikin and 2 sisters; Gladys Mullikin Hall and Grace Mullikin Newman.

Survivors include 2 sons; William Dale (Connie) Mullikin of Paragould and Ray (Donna) Mullikin of Star City, 1 daughter; Susan (Chuck) Padgett of Star City, 1 sister; Margaret Mullikin Scrifes of White Hall, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are 11:00AM Friday at Lone Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Thomas Lamb officiating.

Visitation is 10:00-11:00AM Friday at the church. Burial at Newman Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Angels, 3801 Camden Rd., Ste. 12, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.
