Mr. Boll, a Delaware county resident for over 70 years, passed away Saturday afternoon at the home of his grandson, Bob Boll, with whom he had been staying for the past several months at Keystone.
Funeral services for Mr. Boll were scheduled today (Tuesday) at 1:20 p.m. from the Methodist church, with the Rev. Robert G. Wendel officiating. Burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery in Masonville. The Shelly funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Henry Frederick Boll, son of William Boll and Fredericka Storm Boll was born Feb. 12, 1871, in Monticello and received his education in the schools there. He came to Delaware county as a young man and engaged in farming near Masonville.
He was united in marriage with Eva Breyfogel on Feb. 24, 1892, at Manchester. Following their marriage they farmed for a short time near Masonville and then moved to farm in the Oneida community. They farmed there until purchasing their own farm near Dundee where they farmed continuously until the infirmities of age forced his retirement from active farming.
Mr. Boll is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Boll of the Dundee community and now at Keystone; three sons, Archie L. Boll of Concordia, Kan.; Floyd H. Boll of Kansas City, Kan., and Leon C. Boll of Route 3, Manchester; one daughter, Mrs. Vera M. Hughes of Lincoln, Neb.; 17 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and two half-brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
