Born in Birmingham, AL, he was an Army Air Corps veteran and president and cofounder of Cardinal Manufacturing. He was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church and was graduate of Male High School and the University of Louisville Speed School of engineering.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Kaiser.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, the former Martha Matz; children, Cindy Ritchie, Eric Weisbach (Lee), Kathy Weisbach John Weisbach (Linda) and Christy Weisbach; and grandchildren, Kyle, Evan, Eric, Jamie, Anna, Andrew, Holly, Kelly, Amy and Jason "Fritz." His funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013 at St. Raphael, 2131 Lancashire Ave., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
