Ora M. Johnson, 79, of the McCurdy Residential Center, died at 6:18 a.m. today at Welborn Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson, a housewife, was a native of Edmonson County, Ky., and she attended 12th Avenue General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Woodie; daughters, Patricia Frank, Charlcie Burden and Jenny Castellano, all of Evansville; sons, Darrell and Daymon, both of Evansville and David od Mount Vernon, Ind.; sisters, Etta Jones of Nashville, Tenn., and Ethel Sturdivant of Lake Alfred, Fla.; a brother, Irvin Jaggers of Hendersonville, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and all day Thursday at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel, where arrangements are pending.
