Susannah "Sue" McIntosh Drew (Cherokee/Creek) was the daughter of William Drew (b. 1797 in TN d. Apr 1860 in TX) and Delilah McIntosh, daughter of Creek Chief William H. McIntosh and Susannah (Susan) Rowe (Cherokee).
She had the following siblings: George (b. bet. 1840-42 d. before 1895) who married Mary Hayes; Kate (b. about 1852 d. 1925) who married Woods Buckner Rogers; Martha A. (b. 1853 at the Falonah Plantation, Jefferson, Marion Co., TX) who married Capt. James Napoleon Scott; and Jessie (b. about 1862, buried at the Rogers Cem., Checotah, OK) who married Tuxie H. Carey about 1879.
She married before 1876, (1) Chief/Col. William Penn Adair; they had one child: Dora Scott Adair b. 1876 d. after 1902. Dora was her niece whom she later adopted. Dora Scott Lieber
She married about 1882, William H. Rogers b. about 1822 d. 1889.

Sue Rogers is said to be the only woman to serve as an Indian Commissioner (during the Oklahoma land allotments with the Dawes Commission). She held the office being one of the three Indian Commissioners. She also served for six years as the appointed Clerk of the Supreme Court of the Creek Nation. These were high offices, especially in that time of age when women seldom had any part in Government.
"Aunt Sue" had her first air plane ride on her ninetieth birthday. She took two airplane rides that day.
