HAROLD DEAN CHILDS died in grace on February 19, 2005. He was born on January 4, 1941 in Centerville, Texas to Lonnie and Ara Bess Childs. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Jody Childs. He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration. After becoming a CPA, he started and grew a successful accounting practice in Sugar Land, Texas, where he was admired and respected by many. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lou, his daughter Dena and her husband Steve and their children: Ryan, Carson and Kelly Ann; his son, Craig and his wife Laura and their children: Ashley, Alex and Case, and his brother Charles Earl and his wife Nelda and their children Steve and Mark and their families. He was a mature believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Harold considered his family his most valued treasure. Visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks on Tuesday, January 22 from 5-8 pm, and services will be held in the chapel of Memorial Oaks on Wednesday, January 23 at 10:00 am.
