James R Fisher Rites Conducted
Funeral services were held sunday afternoon at Monahans Baptist Church for James R Fisher, 77, who passed away Friday at his home following a lengthy illness.
Mr Fisher resided at 1500 South Stockton and was born May l, 1884 in Oklahoma. Officiating at the services were the Rev R F Simmans and the Rev L A Pattilo, with Barnes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Monahans Cemetery.
A ling time resident of Monahans, Mr Fisher was retired from the State Highway Department.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs J A Fisher of Amarillo, Mrs E C Young of Brownfield and Mrs W D Breed of Monahans; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
