Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Esther Kauffman
STRAWBERRY POINT - Mrs. Esther Mae Kauffman, 68, Strawberry Point housewife died at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness Friday. Services will be tomorrow at 1:30 p. m. at the Gill Chapel in Strawberry Point, Iowa.
Mrs. Kauffman was born at Osterdock, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bush. She was married in 1913 to Mr. Lou Kauffman at Guttenberg, Iowa. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Carl Lang, Dubuque; Mrs. Oscar Martwig, Strawberry Point; Mrs. Lonnie Penney, Hanford, Calif.; four sons, Lloyd, Calmar; Doyle, Fayette; Clifford, Strawberry Point, and Orson of Sumner; one sister, Mrs. Roy Hochhaus, Edgewood; and two brothers, G. Maurice Bush, and Orson Bush, both of Dubuque.
