Old-Time Residents Pass Away
The funeral of Mrs. August Ackelbein, who passed away recently at her home in Silver Grove, Kansas, will be held in the valley next Sunday morning at the home of William Henjes, formerly the home of the Ackelbein family, conducted by the Rev. Aug. E. Brauer of Pueblo. Interment will take place in the valley Lutheran cemetery. The deceased was an early day resident of this valley and was held in high esteem by all acquaintances. She was 74 years of age.
Surviving are four sons, August, Otto, Fred and Gustave Ackelbein, and four daughters, Mrs. Henjes here, Mrs. Jacobs in California, Mrs. Frank Wyckoff at Palisade and Julia in Silver Grove.
