Jeanette Marie (Abercrombie) Kerr, born October 19, 1930, died peacefully and beautifully at home surrounded by the love of her family. Jeanette was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and attended Radford finishing school in El Paso, Texas. She went on to Lindenwood College in St. Charles, Missouri.

While working in Roswell, NM, she was swept off her feet by Edwin Kerr, married after 11 dates and became loving roommates for 51 years.

Jeanette was a woman of great dignity and grace. She had a charming way with people and enjoyed being a fashion consultant with Doncaster Clothes. She was an avid athlete and a long time member of the North side YMCA. She was also a dedicated and active member of All Souls Episcopal Church. She was a blessing to all she met and will be missed by her family and a myriad of good friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edwin P. Kerr of the home; son and daughter-in -law, Tripp and Ann Kerr, of Denver, CO.; daughter, Catherine of Prairie Village, KS; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Kurt Holmes, of Oklahoma City; two grandsons, Preston and Cameron Kerr, of Denver; brother, David Abercrombie; and several nieces and nephews.
