Passed away in Calgary on Thursday, October 25th, 1984, Mrs. "AGNES" ANN MARIE BLACK at the age of 73 years of #103 Legion Arms Apts.. Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Georg e Albert Black.


Born in Quebec, the late Mrs. Black later moved west to Shaunavon, Saskatchewan in 1912, then to Lethbridge where she resided until her passing.


She was a member of the Golden Age Bowling League; the Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Lethbridge for 30 years; the Lethbridge Miners' Library; and the Army and Navy of Lethbridge.


She is mourned by three sons, Melvin Roy Armour of Sunnyside, Roy Jensen of Spruce Grove, Jim Jensen of Surrey , B.C. , two step-sons, Roger Black of Edmonton , Peter Black of Elko, B.C., two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Nouch of Edmonton , Mrs. Rachel Engel of Calgary ; one step daughter , Mrs Florence (Alvin) Buehler of Calgary ; three brothers, Oscar Lamothe of Okotoks, Emile Lamothe of Penticton , B.C., Victor Lamothe of Shaunavon Saskatchewan ; ten grandchildren ; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was predeceased by her first husband, James D. Armour; her second husband, George Albert Black ; two sisters, Emmilienne and Albertine ; and three brothers, Albert (Pete), Arthur, and Orphilas.
