Barbara (Jane) Allen Stephens, 75, of RR2, Watsontown, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, JoAnne T. Sampsell, with whom she had resided since September. She had been in ill health since April. Born July 31, 1924, in Watsontown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and A. Myrtle (Johnson) Allen. She was a 1942 graduate of Watsontown High School. She was employed more than 30 years by the former Zenith/Philco Ford Corp. of Watsontown as an office clerk until her retirement. She was a member of the Watsontown United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Trutt. Surviving are her sons, Blaine A. Trutt, Watsontown; and Tim Stitzel, New Columbia; daughters, JoAnne T. Sampsell, RR2, Watsontown; Kathy L. Stephens, Watsontown; and Barbara J. Scutt, Mountaintop; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brother, Max Allen, Watsontown; and sisters, Mary Huffman, Margaret Greiner and Madeline McIntyre, all of Watsontown. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Nov. 20 at the Watsontown United Methodist Church, 11 E. Third St., Watsontown, with the Rev. Douglas Eberly officiating. Interment will be made in the Watsontown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's School, 422 So~uth Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop, 18707. Funeral arrangements were made by The Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Water St., Northumberland.

Stitzel, Kathy Lee Stephens and Barbara Jo Stephens.
