She was a native of Tattnall County, but had lived most of her life in Evans County. She was a member of Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: three sons and daughters-in-law, Herman and Margaret Mitchell of Clear Water, Fla., Alton and Areta Mitchell of Fort Worth, Texas, and David and Jane Mitchell of Savannah; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Talmadge Jones of Reidsville, and Deloris and J.P. Warren of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Geneva Mitchell, wife of the late Estus Mitchell, of Savannah; two brothers, Harry Anderson of Bellville and Jim Anderson of Manassas, three sisters, Janie Boyette, Olga Lee Thompson and Hilda Thomas, all of Savannah; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
VISITATION: 6 p.m. today at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home in Claxton.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Monday at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Old Anderson Cemetery.
