Lawrence Parker Wright Sr., 65, husband of Dianne Dirks Wright, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was a son of the late Parker Caulkins Wright and the late Eleanor DeWitt Wright.
Mr. Wright, formerly a longtime resident of Webster, N.Y., and Sodus Point, N.Y., was a retired grocer and officer in the UFCW Local No. 1.
Survivors besides his wife of Sumter include three children, Lawrence P. Wright Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Atlanta, Ga., Alison Carlisle and her husband, Edward, of Greenwood, and Danielle Mirabella and her husband, Seth, of Charleston; two granddaughters, Grace Carlisle and Lily Carlisle; one brother, David D. Wright of Athens, Ala.; two sisters, Judith O'Neil of Chester, Va., and Nancy Powell of Edmond, Okla.; a special aunt, Clara Weston of Tavarese, Fla.; and a number of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held later in Sodus Point.
