Charleston - Mrs. John Adams, 64 years old, of Charleston died unexpectedly Thursday at her home of an apparent heart attack.
She was born June 12, 1908, in Tennessee, but had been a resident of Charleston since 1937.
She was employed by Brown Shoe Co. here until her retirement on Dec. 9, 1969. The former Miss Mary Ella Adams was married Dec. 15, 1925, to Mr. Adams.
Surviving is her husband; son Kelty Adams; daughter, Mrs. Bob Mundt; sister, Mrs. Hazel Laster; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-step-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at the McMikle Funeral Home. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery here.
