Two Cash brothers married two Boggan sisters in Wadesboro, NC. The sisters' father was Capt. Patrick Boggan, who was locally famous in the Rev. War and pretty much owned all the land around Wadesboro NC. This is where the Boggan name originates that is passed down so frequently in the Cash lines. Capt. "Paddy" had a reputation that made him a "terror to the Tories."
Frances ("Fanny") Boggan married James Ingo Cash. Sister Margaret ("Peggy") Boggan married Ingo Dozier Cash, a brother to James Ingo.
