ARTHUR SHELLEY DIES SUDDENLY IN BERWICK
Word has been received that Arthur Shelley, for many years superintendent of the Charles A.Dana
estate, Bernardsville, New Jersey, died suddenly last night, Wednesday August 21, 1946 in Berwick, Pa, shortly
after he and Mrs Shelley and their daughter arrived there to begin a vacation. For many years Mr. Shelley had been janitor of the Basking Ridge public school.
While funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the return of Mrs. Shelley to her home this Thursday in Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge. Masonic services will be held this Friday evening at 8 o'clock in the Gallaway Funeral Home by Congdon Lodge No 301 F&M of which deceased had long been a member. He was also a past president of the lodge.
Besides his wife and daughter, Ruth, two sons, Arthur and Lynn also survive him.
