She moved with her parents from Illinois at an early age, and has lived her entire life in the Waterville, KS vicinity.
On the 5th of June, 1907, Ethel was united in marriage to Richard Guy Fincham, also of the Waterville community. To this union 10 children were born, 6 of whom are living. They are Mrs. Eva Samsel of Barnes, KS , Mrs. Freda Shaw of Waterville, KS, Morris Fincham of Topeka, KS, Luin Fincham of Wichita, KS, Raymond Fincham of Albuquerque, NM, and Leonard of Waterville, KS.
She leaves to mourn her passing, 6 children,
4 daughters-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, her sister Mrs. Olive Docherty of Clinton, MN; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She loved her home and was very devoted to her husband and children. Every day was full of sunshine to her and dark days were few. Her thoughts toward others were always thoughts of praise and understanding.
Memorial services were conducted from the Waterville Methodist Church April 6th. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery, Waterville, KS
