MRS. HOSEA WILSON, LIFE LONG BLAIR WOMAN, DIED IN HOSPITAL
In failing health almost five years and seriously ill two weeks, Mrs. Hosea Wilson, 66, well-known Blair farm woman died early Friday evening at Blair hospital. She had been a patient there a week.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson have resided west of Blair for many years.
The Rev A. W. Clarke, pastor of the Arlington Methodist Church and formerly Mrs. Wilson's pastor at Rose Hill church, officiated at funeral services, which were held at the Congregational Church here Monday afternoon. Interment was in Blair Cemetery. The Campbell mortuary had charge of arrangements
A native of Blair
As Anna Matilda Bross, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bross, Mrs. Wilson was born here Sept. 5, 1879 and secured her education in the local schools. She joined the Methodist Church in her youth. She and Mr. Wilson were married Dec. 11, 1901, and had spent their entire married life on the same farm. Mrs. Wilson was a prominent member of the Rose Hill Methodist Ladies Aid.
Surviving Mrs. Wilson are her husband, Hosea; a son, Frank Wilson, also of Blair; three brothers, Jake, G. F. (Frank) and Arthur Bross, all of Blair; and three sisters, Mrs. Alta Ryan and Mrs. Glyss Syvis, both of Omaha, and Mrs. Jennie Spiker of Fort Colins, Colo. There are three grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Wilson in death were three sisters and a brother.
