KESSLER - Passed away in the city on Tuesday, January 4th, 1983, Mr. "Ambert" Emerson Kessler at the age of 81 years, of 1112 11th Street South, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elsie Kessler.

Born in Phillipsberg, Ohio, the late Mr. Kessler came to Canada in 1909 to New Dayton where he was educated at the Kessler School. In 1916, he moved to the Readymade area where he farmed and operated an automotive repair shop. In 1962 , he moved to Lethbridge, but still farmed until 1972. He then was a partner in the mobile bolt supply until his passing. He was a member of the Pemmican Club.

He is survived by one son, Mr. Ambert "Lavron" Kessler of Taber; one stepson, Gary MacDonald of Toronto; two stepdaughters, Gail and Brenda, both of Lethbridge; two sisters, Mrs. Treva Folkins and Mrs. Martha Bartlett, both of Lethbridge; one brother, Mr. Howard Kessler of Surrey, B.C.; and 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his second wife, Elsie in 1977, and his first wife, Winnifred in 1959.
