Mrs, Annis B. Moorhead, 87, mother of Harley G. Moorhead, attorney and director of the Metropolitan Utilities district, and of Mrs. Harry A. Tukey, died Sunday morning at the home of the latter, 105 North Fifty-third street, where she had lived for two years. She was the widow of George P. Moorhead.
With her husband, she came to Omaha in 1899 from Dunlap, Ia. Until 1920, the family lived at 114 South Thirty-eighth avenue.
For a number of years she was active in the Omaha Woman’s club and the old First Congregational church, of which she was a member.
Until two years ago, she had spent most of the time for 10 years in San Diego, Cal.
Other children are: Mrs. Roy S. Dougall, Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Harvey B. Daniels, San Diego; Mrs. Allan B. Reed, Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Edward Goodwin, San Diego.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the home of Mrs. Tukey, Dr. Frank G. Smith officiating. The rites will be private, and there is a request that no flowers be sent. Mrs. Dougall nnd Mrs. Reed will come for the funeral. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.
