Claire W. "Bill" Flesher, age 79, of Council Bluffs, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Bill was born August 15, 1928, in Harrisburg, Pa., to the late Claire William and Harriet (Morton) Flesher. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1945-1949. Bill was a carman for the Union Pacific Railroad, and was in the insurance business for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening and story telling. Bill was a member of VFW Post #737.
