Rea Cecil Dill, 56, member of the Olney Grade School faculty were held at the Olney Church of Christ with Paul C. Witt, minister of Abilene, officiating.
Dill died of cancer and had been ill for three months. Because of his condition, the school board had given him a leave of absence.
Rea Cecil Dill married Opal Gertrude Mayfield at Fort Worth, Texas on 30 August 1928.
The Dills moved to Olney in 1958 from Muleshoe, Texas. The couple had lived in Sweetwater and Fort Worth.
Survived by his wife; two sons - Preston Dill and Terry Dill; three daughters - Mrs. Lucian L. Morgan, Mrs. John Niestadt and Miss Sandra Dill; three sisters; five brothers.
