Born in Williamsburg, Blair Co., he was the son of the late Samuel Warren and Margaret D. (Rath) Whitsel.
Albert served in the Air Force and was then employed as a maintenance engineer at Scott Paper in Philadelphia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Reba married to John Harper, Jr., East Earl; Samuel married to Tammy Whitesel, Pocopson; Warren married to Beverly Whitesel, Nottingham; Jerry married to Connie Whitesel, Nottingham; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Fern married to David Alexander of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca married to Richard Bobey and a step father George H. Snyder.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA. Interment will be in the Salem Reformed Cemetery. If desired memorials may be made to Williamson Trade School, 106 S. New Middletown Road, Media, PA 19063.
