Obituary: Ethel L. Davis, 88
Graveside services were held Thursday for Ethel Kathleen Letsinger Davis, 88, of 1505 Chert Pit Road, who died at Park West Hospital.
Rev. Alan Sims and Rev. Otis Sims officiated at the services and interment at Marietta Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Davis was a member of Hines Valley Baptist Church, and the widow of Burton Renzo Davis. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Decker.
Survivors include 16 children, Mary Hayes, James M. Davis, Pearl Garner, Annie Norman, Lillian Petty, Francis Simerly, William Davis, Willie Breazeale, Nellie Gentry, Leon Davis, Margaret Sizemore, Liza Ward, Iva Maddox, Amos Davis, Gene Davis and Ailene Beeler; two brothers, Raymond and Buddy Letsinger; sisters, Gertie Martin, Alma Newcomb, Ruby Kelly and Lisa; 56 grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
