Peche Rosary Slated for Today

Rosary for MICHAEL V. PECHE, 90, a great-grandson of GREGORIO ESPARZA who died a hero in the battle of the Alamo, will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Peche, 1603 W. Hildebrand Ave., died in Brooke General Hspital Wednesday.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Magdalen with burial under the direction of Zizik-Kearns-Downing Funeral Home at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Peche was a member of Holy Name and St. Vincent de Paul Societies.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. GERTRUDE O. PECHE; seven [7] sons MICHAEL, FRED, COSME, AL, RUDY, RAYMOND and FERDINAND PECHE; two daughters, Mrs. DON BENTON and retired Army Capt. RUTH E. SMITH; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
