DEATH OF MRS. BEATY.
Died Last Night After a Extended Illness.
The wife of Rev. R. B. Beaty, a retired Methodist minister, died last evening about 8 o'clock at her home, 318 North Seventh street, of Bright's disease after an illness of several months. The deceased was born at Wabash, Ind., and was married to REv. Beaty in 1863 at Greentown, Ind. They had lived in the state for eighteen years most of the time residing in western Kansas. They came to Salina from Ottawa county about 18 months ago. The deceased leaves besides her husband, four children. They are Edward, Topeka; Ella, Ellsworth, W. H. and C. F., Salina.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, Dr. B. T. Stauber, officiating.
