Deceased Name: Samuel P. Cameron
Samuel P. Cameron, 88, of Hummelstown, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was born January 2, 1917 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Dr. Samuel P., Sr. and Eva Bodine (Pitts)Cameron.

Mr. Cameron was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and retired as an electrical engineer for the Susquehanna Twp. School District and had previously served as the service manager of the former Burroughs Corporation's Todd Division.

He was a World War II Army Veteran where he served with the OSS (later absorbed into the CIA) in India, China, Burma, and the Philippines. He was also an avid, above average, golfer.

Surviving are his wife, June G. Cameron, and a son, Thomas Cameron of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his first wife Anna Cameron.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home and Crematory, Route #422 and Lucy Avenue, Hershey.
