Graveside service for Pamela Beth Mawhinney, 61, Snyder, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, with Pastor David McCracken, New Life Assembly of God, Cache, officiating.

Mrs. Mawhinney died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Altus.

Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

She was born Feb. 2, 1952, in Snyder, to Floyd J. and Mildred Brutton Purser. Her family moved to California when she was a young child. She helped her son with his battle of Muscular Dystrophy for 28 years before his death in 2004. She moved back to Snyder in 2009. She lost her battle to cancer on April 2, 2013. Pamela dedicated her life to taking care of her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, William Mawhinney; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and David Keiningham; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Velma Purser; and a brother, Harold Purser.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, William Chaun Mawhinney.
