Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Eyler, 79, who died at her home, 1113 Main street, Stillwater, January 11, were held at the Strode Funeral Home at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, the Rev. M.M. Anderson officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn cemetery.
Catherine Emerick was born in Zanesville, OH., October 3, 1853. She married Francis M. Eyler in 1870 in Schuyler county, Illinois. Five children were born to them.
The deceased is survived by three sons George Eyler, Pawnee; Fred Eyler, Los Angeles, Cal.; Clarence Eyler, Paducah, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hendrick, Stillwater, and Mrs. H.M. Buskirk; Yale; four brothers, Jake, Will and Frank Emerick, Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. George James, New Mexico, and 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
